Life gets busy and it’s not often that we take time to step back and recognise the great contributions of Australian marketers. There are many great industry awards held each year right across Australia. We’ve put together a list of some of the great marketing awards events we’ve come across as a handy resource for marketers so make sure you check it out. If there’s something we’ve missed, please drop us a line and we’ll update it.
In the meantime, if you haven’t already heard, the illustrious 2013 IAB Awards are coming up. They seek to recognise digital creativity that works and will showcase the best of Australia’s online advertising industry.
This year there is also an exciting new award that has been added to the mix – Digital Marketer of the Year. This award will honour an Australian marketer who has shown bravery in their digital marketing endeavours through their vision, use of channels, technologies and platforms while delivering tangible results for their company/brand. Nominees will be judged on their bravery, innovation, impact (market or brand) and also the jury’s discretion.
Entries are via nomination. While you can’t nominate yourself, if you work with or know of someone that you think deserves recognition make sure you take a few minutes and complete the nomination form on the IAB website. It doesn’t cost anything to nominate, so no excuses! Nominations close on 23 May 2013.
The ceremony night will be held at The Star Event Centre in Sydney on 11 July so don’t forget to purchase your tickets.
