DESCRIPTION:The Queensland Business Writers Conference is our annual training event for corporate and government communications professionals. \nSince 2012\, this event has helped people who write as part of their job to increase their skills and knowledge of best practice. \nAnd\, this year\, we’re live streaming the whole event – so you can join us online from the comfort of your home or office. \nThe events of 2020 have shown how essential our role as communicators really is. It’s not an easy job to provide clear messages in uncertain times\, but it’s an important one. \nAnd it’s essential that everyone gets the message. This is challenging in a country with a diverse population that may be isolated\, elderly or multicultural\, or have limited digital literacy. \nSo\, this year\, we’ll focus on the skills we need to ensure that\, when we develop communications for the people\, it’s all the people. \nIt’s all happening on Wednesday 28 October 2020.
